I Am A Nudist

Furiends, you should know I do NOT like wearing clothes.  And even though mom knows this very  fact, she bought me and Stanley coats and matching preppie sweaters last winter.  We also have our CGC vests but I am kind of proud to wear that since I worked really hard for it.  Stanley doesn't mind wearing clothes, he just says, "Whatever".  But me, I say "No way!".  Despite this fact you will NOT believe what happened to us.  We went to Petco on Thursday and when we walked in the door mom hit the brakes.  I thought maybe she saw a snake cuz she stopped so suddenly.  But what it turned out to be is a clearance on dog clothes.  Mom said it wasn't "just" a clearance, it was "freaking dirt cheap" (her eyes went crazy when she said that).  I don't know what that means but mom said to tell you EVERYTHING was marked at $1!  Yes, one dollar.  Here is what we got:

This is a nightmare for a dog who just likes being naked.

Now on another note, there is something new at our house, mom calls it an accomplishment.  It used to be that when mom and dad had to leave and could not take us with them that we would go to the Doodle Clubhouse (in good weather) or to jail (a penned off area in the big room downstairs) in bad weather.  BUTT, since me and Stanley are all growed up and have been so good for 87 years now, our pawrents decided we could have run of the whole house when they are gone!  So far we have been alone for three and a half hours.  When mom and dad get home we are so RELIEVED that they came home since we never were alone in the house before but we do NOT get into troubles!  Mom says we are her big boys!

I wish you had modeled your new shirts. I bet you both look great in them. That sure is a big accomplishment to be allowed to roam the house when mom and dad are gone.

Congratulations, Boys. We always have the run of the house and back garden. It's great!

We can't move when SHE puts clothes on us. We only wear collars and that's when we leave home. You DO look cool, sitting still.

Mum and I ould not read any of the black on black comments and the text of this blog -- might be her age, lol. Could you PLEASE change it as we LUV reading yoru blogs!!!!

The comments aren't black-on-black. There is something on your system that is "translating" or otherwise having trouble reading the coding for the comments. The comment section is actually black type on a cream colored background. We are happy you enjoy our blog but not sure what we could do to help you out. We do know that some tablets, specifically i-pads sometimes do this. I think once someone said the Explorer browser has trouble sometimes too. You might try Chrome and see if that resolves the problem??

Your Pal,

Murphy

We're all about the nekkid. We have one raincoat (purchased when it was just me and TaiChi, who Did Not go on walks in the rain - but given that she was a little old lady, she was allowed to do (or not do) whatever she wanted). I will grudgingly wear it, but when you put it on Abby she's like a statue. Seriously. She won't even chase after frisbees. However, we bother have 'cool coats' for those wickedly hot summer days (the coats that get soaked in water and then keep us cool as the water evaporates) and neither of us are bothered by those. But beyond that, we don't wear anything other than collars, and occasionally, the really nifty bandanas our Granny made us!

I just noticed that you love the number 87. This has 87 years. The other one was 870 minutes (or was it hours).

Love the raincoat. That rack looks pretty awesome.
