Happy Autumn

Saturday our pawrents took us up in the mountains so we could take our official Autumn Photo.

We might have had a few bloopers . . .

And there may have been one where we didn't totally cooperate . . .

And sometimes it wasn't even our fault!

But when we finally got it right, we think it looked pretty good.

Thank you all for being our furiends!

His Face Rings A Bell . . .

And then the process repeats . . . over and over .   Mom says Stanley is going to get a job as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.  I don't know what that is but I think Stanley is too young to be in the army.

Fitness Friday

We drove down the hill to get to our route.

(Mom and Dad have been running past this house for years and years.  She says when you run a route for a long time like that you really notice things about the neighborhood.)

And after we finish our run, we walk back to the truck about half a mile for our cool down . . .

We hope ever'body had an active day for Fitness Friday!

Practice Makes Pawfect

Me and Stanley continue to practice catching and retrieving our new Flying Squirrels.  (Mom note:  Not surprisingly, Murphy is much more serious about it than Stanley.)  I've been watching slow motion videos of Fi & Abby, our friends who live nearby, in hopes of learning their techniques.

Then for no apparent reason at all, things don't go as planned . . .

But we all know that practice makes pawfect!

And then just as I was ready to take my UFO back to mom for more practice . . .

New Sport

It looked like Murphy was having a lot of fun with his Frisbee so I decided to give it a try.

This is a lot easier than chasing a bouncing ball.  Now, if I can just remember to return the Frisbee to my pawrents.

Stanley

Pssst . . . furiends . . . don't tell Stanley I added this . . . He caught a few frisbees but I've been REALLY practicing . . .

Now my trouble is that when I catch the ball or frisbee, Stanley likes to take it away from me while I'm trying to take it back to mom or dad.  He's bigger and acts like that all the time sometimes.  So I wrote him a letter . . .

I hope this works!
