Treasure Hunt

The last few days me and Murphy have been isolated from our pawrents while Mom painted.  Today we were isolated outside and Murphy decided to dig in the hill to see what he could find.

I kept a look out in case he found something valuable.  Dad is always talking about how Indian spirits are attacking our electrical things.  I thought maybe there might something valuable that Murphy would dig up.

I thought he had found something.

After all of Murphy's hard digging all we had was an empty hole.

  1. Too bad you didn't find something great, but I'm sure Murphy had a great time digging. I know I would.

  10. Oh no, I'm sure mom and dad weren't happy about your digging. If you need to dig, maybe you should dig up the weeds. Hope the painting is almost done. Our weather is so funny-typical summer. Warm in the morning and cloudy with thunder & rain in the afternoon. Hope you are being good.

  12. We like to dig, but every time we have done that...we have gotten into trouble. Dad doesn't particularly like us digging up his grass. He wants mama to teach us to dig out the weeds in the garden! BOL!
    Happy Weekend Doods!!

  13. When it's warm digging a hole makes a nice cool napping spot!

  14. Samson likes to dig holes too and he particularly likes to stick his nose in holes made by gophers and ground squirrels. He says digging is good exercise even if you don't find anything.
