New Year's Resolution

OMD, the worst thing has happened . . . mom is on a diet!  And everybody knows if mom is on a diet that EVERYBODY is on a diet!

This is all the food me and Stanley get and it has to last all day!
Mom said we had to start running on the treadmill.
"Can you set this for 87 MPH, cuz that is how fast I run!"
"I'm not gonna do this unless mom is looking . . ."
"Get moving Stanley, here she comes!"
"Stanley jumped about a million times mom, I was counting."
"OK, make sure you count every time I jump!"
"I'm all done mom!"
Mom made us work out on the elliptical too.
Stanley had to do the weight machine.  His biceps are rock solid!
"Let's do this together brother!"
"Uh, Murph, my back legs aren't touching the belt . . . "

"What the heck do we do with this?"
"Let's get under it and push it onto the treadmill so it will launch through the window!"
"Hey Murph, spot me on these weights . . . "
"Maybe this is a jaw exercise?"
"Is this how the elliptical works?"

Whew, we worked out like crazy.  I'm not sure how long we can keep this up!  Mom wants to lose 12 pounds.  We're gonna starve to death!

  2. OK I am all for the exercise thing. I love to romp with my MOM and she goes to a gym (I am not allowed in there). BUT.... exactly where will your MOM lose this 12lbs? I mean really I just don't see how she could spare that much. Hope the wind does not blow when she runs cuz she will be swept off her feet.
    Blessings,

  13. Hi boys, Wow what a lot of exercise! WE took Hunter to the Rockies today and he walked and played in the snow but that is the exercise he has gotten. Great job for you all to get into shape(but I'm bettin you boys already are in shape). As for your mom, I think she is being hard on herself-she looks mighty trim plus she runs so is probably in great shape. Me, on the other hand, could loose 8-10 lbs easy; I start the gymn next week. Stay warm, it is clear but really cold here.

  15. 12 pounds? That's a really specific number. Most people go for 10 or 15 or 20. You know? I'm not even going to say what number I need to shoot for because it makes me cuss and this blog is rated G.
